Backend Developer (Node.js + TypeScript)

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial experience with Node.js
• Solid knowledge of TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with WebSockets (real-time communication)
• Strong experience with Google Cloud services (e.g. Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Firestore, etc.)
• Good understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture
• Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker)
• English – Intermediate or higher (communication within the team)

Nice to have:

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Firebase or Firestore experience
• DevOps skills or experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform)

What you’ll do:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
• Design scalable APIs and real-time communication flows using WebSockets
• Work with Google Cloud services to deploy and manage backend systems
• Collaborate with the frontend team, product managers, and QA to deliver high-quality features
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
