ERP Implementation Finance Consultant
An ERP Implementation Finance Consultant will join the Department of Accounting and Financial Systems Architecture and be responsible for implementing an ERP solution focused on the finance domain. This role requires strong expertise in financial processes to ensure that the ERP solution is implemented correctly, aligning with the company’s financial operations and reporting needs.
Responsibilities
- Managing the full ERP implementation lifecycle, including planning project phases, controlling timelines, coordinating resources, and achieving defined project objectives.
- Analyzing and modeling financial business processes, gathering requirements from finance users, documenting them, optimizing workflows, and creating functional specifications based on business needs.
- Managing the project team by setting tasks, monitoring execution, facilitating meetings, and maintaining project documentation in Jira/Confluence.
- Interacting closely with financial and IT stakeholders, leading presentations, aligning decisions, and demonstrating implemented solutions.
- Preparing user guides and supporting documentation, conducting training sessions, and providing post-implementation support to finance users.
Requirements
- Proven experience in implementing ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics BC will be a huge plus) with a focus on financial modules and processes.
- Deep understanding of financial planning, reporting, accounting, budgeting, and the overall financial operations of a company to ensure proper ERP alignment with business needs.
- Experience in project and team management, strong business analysis and documentation skills, excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of international financial standards (IFRS, GAAP) and previous experience in financial reporting automation or process optimization will be an advantage.
