Senior QAA Engineer Offline

Check Point is looking for a Senior QAA engineer to team developing platform in cybersecurity and SaaS for simplifying network security for the modern and distributed workforce by transforming the outdated, complex, hardware-based network security technologies of the past into one unified, easy-to-use, and scalable software solution. You will be part of multi-national distributed team responsible for multiple desktop and mobile device agents.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, automate and implement test cases for a variety of products, using the latest technologies on the market
• Develop and apply integrated testing processes for new and existing products, using the latest tools and technology
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Use different testing techniques and test-driven development strategies
• Work hand-in-hand with manual QA to learn about the system and find ways to improve the automation flows
• Identify key KPIs for product quality
• Challenge our methodologies and tools and strive to continuously improve

• Experience with working and configure monitoring tools such as DataDog Grafana Etc.

   

SKILLS

• 5 years experience working with a variety of different automated testing techniques, test-driven development strategies
• 5 years experience with scripting languages such as Python and automation results analysis.
• 5 years experience working on high-traffic networks / Networking knowledge
• Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS
• Experience in API testing
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Upper-intermediate level of English
• Nice to have:
  • Experience with automation tools and processes
  • Knowledge of Playwright (or similar) and how to use and write integration tests
  • Good understanding of network protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/UDP, Routing)
  • Good understanding of tunnels, VPNs and configuring firewalls

  • Experience in testing Web applications
