Senior Svelte (FullStack) Software Engineer

About the project

This AI Procurement Suite is an intelligent cloud-based ecosystem that unifies direct & indirect sourcing, supplier relationship management (SRM), and contract management in one platform.

With its seamlessly integrated Mercu AI, the system automates repetitive tasks, optimizes complex workflows, and delivers data-driven insights for strategic procurement decisions.

The AI continuously analyzes procurement data and identifies savings potential across the entire value chain.
Industry leaders such as BASF, GASAG, Oventrop, naturenergie, Brose, and Struktol already benefit from rapid implementation, high user adoption, and measurable cost savings from day one.

Tech Stack

Frontend: Svelte
Backend: NestJS, AWS Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB

Requirements

• 4 + years of experience in software development
• Solid experience with Svelte / SvelteKit (component design, state management, SSR)
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Proven hands-on experience with NestJS, REST and GraphQL APIs
• Understanding of serverless architecture on AWS Lambda
• Experience with RDS (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and DynamoDB
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or similar)
• Understanding of AWS services such as S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, API Gateway
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS ECS

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, performing code reviews, and writing unit tests

   

Will be a plus

• Experience with Terraform or Serverless Framework
• Familiarity with WebSockets, message queues (RabbitMQ, SQS) or event-driven architecture
• Practical exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI APIs
