QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) – Short-Term Project (2–3 Months)

About the Project:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) to join our team for a short-term web application project. The initial contract is for 2–3 months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure the quality and stability of the application before release. This is a hands-on role that requires strong analytical thinking, a solid understanding of QA processes, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review requirements and specifications to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases
• Execute manual test cases and identify, record, and track bugs
• Design and implement automated tests for web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript (Playwright or Cypress)
• Maintain and improve existing automated test suites
• Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Collaborate in Agile team ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, etc.)

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in manual QA
• Hands-on experience with web automation testing using JavaScript or TypeScript (Playwright or Cypress)
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience testing web applications across multiple browsers and platforms
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, etc.)
• Attention to detail and ability to think critically
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• English level: Upper-Intermediate (both written and spoken)
