Automation QA Engineer

We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer to join a Belgian product company.

🛠 Project

A Digital Shipping Marketplace and Transportation Platform that enables instant data and email processing, real-time Cargo-to-Ship matching, freight trading and contract management, digital documentation flow, freight finance, and supply chain management solutions.

✅ Requirements – Automation QA Skills:

• 2+ years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and software development life cycle
• Experience writing automated tests for Web and API
• Solid understanding of regression, smoke, integration, and acceptance testing
• Experience with test frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python (depending on stack)
• Experience working in Agile teams
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of tests into pipelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Upper-Intermediate level of English

🧰 Tech Stack / Tools:

• Test frameworks: Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar
• API testing tools: Postman, REST Assured, or Supertest
• Project management: Jira, TestRail
• Version control: Git
• Reporting tools: Allure, Extent Reports
• Data formats: JSON, CSV, XML
• Databases: Basic knowledge of SQL, MongoDB is a plus
• CI tools: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins

🎯 Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements and define test strategies
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API and Web interfaces
• Contribute to building and improving QA automation frameworks
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with developers and manual QAs to ensure high test coverage
• Track and report bugs, work closely with the development team to ensure resolution
• Suggest process improvements to enhance software quality
• Prepare documentation: test plans, test scenarios, test reports
