About the Role

We're a small software company in Ivano-Frankivsk looking for a Middle Manual QA Engineer to join our team. You'll work directly on projects for our Singapore-based customer, testing applications built with modern technologies and ensuring quality delivery.

What You'll Actually Do

• Test web applications and APIs manually across different environments
• Write and execute test cases based on requirements and user stories
• Find bugs, document them clearly, and verify fixes
• Communicate directly with the customer's team in Singapore
• Participate in daily standups and sprint planning sessions
• Work closely with 3-5 developers to catch issues before they reach production
• Suggest improvements to testing processes (we're small enough that your ideas matter)

Tech You'll Work With

Our stack includes Golang, Kubernetes, Postgres, Redshift, React, Nest.js/Node.js, AWS, and Terraform. You don't need to be an expert in all of these, but you should be comfortable testing applications built with modern technologies and understanding basic architecture.

What We Need From You

• 2-3 years of manual testing experience
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Upper-Intermediate English (B2) - you'll write bug reports and communicate with the Singapore team daily
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman or similar)
• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTTP, REST, databases)
• Ability to work Ukraine hours with some flexibility for Singapore timezone meetings

Nice to Have

• Experience with test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Qase.io, etc.)
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation
• Some automation experience or willingness to learn
• Previous experience working with international teams
