AI-Driven Junior Developer – Python/Golang – Freelance Opportunity

About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and talented Junior Developer with ~2 years of commercial experience to join our growing team on a freelance/hourly basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time role. You’ll be working on a large-scale, complex system involving microservices, APIs, crawlers, and AI-based data analysis.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to backend development using Python (primary) and/or Golang (a big plus)
• Build and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs
• Work with large-scale crawlers and data processing pipelines
• Collaborate with other team members in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Learn and adopt tools like Cursor, Claude, and others as part of your day-to-day workflow
• Take ownership of tasks and work independently when needed
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions
• Complete a short practical test (mandatory)

What We’re Looking For

• ~2 years of real-world, commercial development experience
• Strong knowledge of Python (must-have)
• Experience or willingness to work with Golang (huge advantage if you know both)
• A fast learner with a growth mindset and strong problem-solving skills
• High motivation to learn new tools and technologies — we’ll provide full access to them
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote team setting
• Willingness to complete a short technical test as part of the selection process
• Freelance availability (hourly basis to start)

Nice to Have

• Experience with large-scale crawling/scraping systems
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts (no need to be an expert, just curiosity helps)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms or containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes)

• This is a freelance/hourly position, but we’re looking for long-term collaborators
