Senior Automation QA Engineer Offline

GlobalLogic is searching for a motivated, results-driven, and innovative AQA engineer to join our project team at a dynamic startup specializing in pet insurance. Our client is a leading global holding company that is dedicated to developing an advanced pet insurance claims clearing solution designed to expedite and simplify the veterinary invoice reimbursement process for pet owners.

You will be working on a cutting-edge system built from scratch, leveraging Azure cloud services and adopting a low-code paradigm. The project adheres to industry best practices in quality assurance and project management, aiming to deliver exceptional results.

Requirements

  • At least 4+ years of practical experience as a Senior QA engineer with a full cycle of Project Quality Assurance responsibility 
  • Deep understanding of modern test automation patterns and standards, knowledge of algorithms
  • Working knowledge of typical BE and API structures, tools like Postman, Swagger, OpenAPI
  • Hands-on experience with different types of test automation
  • Strong sense of ownership for the Product Quality, including proactively identifying edge/corner cases and driving improvements
  • Ability to proactively collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, prevent defects early, and ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Experience with task-bug tracking, software development and QA processes, and CI/CD tools (preferable Azure DevOps);
  • Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation (bug reports, test designs, test cases, test reports)
  • Upper Intermediate English (both spoken and written).

 

Job responsibilities

  • Participate in the creation of project-level artifacts
  • Coordinate with the team members to prioritize testing efforts
  • Take full responsibility for Quality Assurance activities (including Test Cases, Test Plans, Test Automation Coding, Test Reports, Test Automation Pipelines creation)
  • Plan and manage testing activities by Tasks creation, keeping Azure Task board up to date for any kind of reviewers
  • Create/improve custom frameworks and tools (C# stack)
  • Perform code review
  • Investigate issues to provide accurate and reproducible info to the dev team
  • Strictly follow QMS procedures and processes
  • Provide status reports
  • Continuously improve testing on the project
  • Participate in QA Initiatives, collaborate with Development and Project Team to keep Project Quality at a high level
