About the Project

We are partnering with a client who is developing a new savings application and looking for a senior React Native engineer to lead both the build and technical strategy. This role is pivotal in shaping not only the app itself but also in establishing internal mobile development practices.

This is a client-facing position, so we are specifically looking for someone based in or near Warsaw who is open to visiting the client’s office when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Tech Lead to define and deliver the app’s MVP, including onboarding, account management, and money transfers.
• Partner with product and design teams to ensure smooth and efficient execution.
• Take ownership of technical decisions on architecture, tooling, and security features (e.g., identity verification, biometrics, passcode protection).
• Lay the foundation for scalable development, including CI/CD pipelines, QA frameworks, and modular architecture.
• Build with a future-proof mindset, enabling features like open banking integrations, savings forecasting, and real-time support.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in React Native development.
• Solid experience in building and releasing apps to both Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Strong expertise in platform-specific integrations, such as Turbo/Native modules and native SDKs.
• Practical knowledge of setting up testing environments and writing automated tests.
• Understanding of mobile security best practices, device hardening, and real-time features.
• Experience with native iOS and Android development.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills in client-facing settings.
• Fluent English is a must.
