Full Stack Developer with LLM experience

We’re looking for a Founding Full-Stack Engineer (backend-first, but frontend-capable) to join an early-stage US startup in the enterprise AI space.

If you’re confident scaling microservices, working with LLMs in production, and occasionally diving into React — we’d love to hear from you.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and scaling microservices and APIs (REST/GraphQL, Kafka/SQS, background jobs);
• Working with PostgreSQL + pgvector: indexing, partitioning, performance tuning;
• Building robust integrations with LLMs: managing prompt flows, eval pipelines;
• Maintaining cloud infra (AWS – EKS/ECS, S3, RDS, KMS) via Terraform;
• Setting up CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.);
• Tweaking React components to unblock features;
• Helping deliver production-ready frontend flows;
• Working closely with product, AI and DevOps teams;
• Owning delivery end-to-end: from shaping the solution to shipping;

• Refactoring, automating, improving reliability and developer experience.

   

What we expect from you:

• 5+ years of backend development experience (Python, Go, or TypeScript);
• 1+ years working with LLM services or data/AI pipelines in production;
• Hands-on experience with microservices, message queues, idempotency;
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including performance and migrations;
• Confident with AWS stack and infrastructure as code (Terraform, GitHub Actions);
• Solid CI/CD mindset, system design skills, and debugging experience;
• Upper-Intermediate+ English (team is international, communication is async-first);
• Startup readiness: you’re self-driven, autonomous, and know how to move fast.

It would be great if you also have:

• Frontend skills (React + TypeScript);
• Worked with Kafka or serverless setups (Lambda, etc.);
• Experience with vector DBs, RAG pipelines, or prompt engineering;
• Knowledge of security & compliance (SOC2, GDPR);
• Experience scaling engineering teams or mentoring devs.
