Full-Stack QA Engineer (Manual+Automation)
We are looking for a Full-Stack QA Engineer (Manual & Automation) to join our team. Youβll help us catch bugs before they bite and ship high-quality features with confidence across our React frontend and NestJS backend. PART-TIME role.
Responsibilities
πΉ Own and execute manual test plans based on feature specs and user stories
πΉ Design and build automated tests for frontend (React) and backend (NestJS)
πΉ Develop and maintain integration and end-to-end (E2E) test suites
πΉ Join sprint planning and advocate for QA early in the cycle
πΉ Test new features in staging and perform regression checks pre-release
πΉ Monitor and troubleshoot flaky or failing pipelines
πΉ Validate backend flows including DB (Postgres), cache (Redis), and queues (SQS)
πΉ Collaborate with developers to understand architecture and improve system reliability
Required Skills

2+ years of hands-on QA experience (manual + automation)
β
Solid testing experience with React and NestJS/Node.js
β
Proficient in Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks
β
Confident using REST API tools like Postman or Insomnia
β
Comfortable writing SQL queries (PostgreSQL experience preferred)
β
Basic knowledge of AWS (SQS, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
β
Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and task trackers (Jira, Linear)
β
Strong eye for detail and clear communicator in test cases & bug reports
Nice-to-Haves
β Experience testing distributed systems with Redis/SQS
β Familiarity with Docker and local debugging
β Understanding of performance and load testing
β Startup or agile team experience
