Senior AQA Engineer (Java) Offline

Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced QA Automation Engineer to take ownership of the test automation process on a growing project. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the existing UI and API automation frameworks, designing test strategies, and driving automation best practices. This role requires strong hands-on skills in Java, Playwright, and Docker, as well as the ability to organize and lead automation efforts, collaborate across teams, and stay up to date with modern testing approaches and tools.

Its considered a large plus having some even private experiece with new AI automation testing tools. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and drive the automation process on the project
• Develop and maintain API tests using Java and Rest Assured
• Build and support UI tests using Playwright and Java
• Monitor and analyze automated test results
• Improve and optimize existing UI and API test frameworks
• Work with Azure DevOps to support CI/CD automation
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to manage test environments using Docker
• Write test strategies, test plans, and test cases
• Use Jira for documentation, task tracking, and bug reporting
• Research and adopt new tools, techniques, and trends in test automation

Knowledge and Skills required:

• 3+ years in test automation with solid experience in Java
• Hands-on experience with Playwright
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)
• Experience in writing test documentation: test strategies, test plans, and test cases
• Experience working with Docker
• Proficiency with Jira for task and bug management
• Ability to work independently, lead initiatives, and make architecture decisions
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
