Automation QA Engineer – Junior Offline

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Junior AQA Engineer, your area of responsibility is creating automated tests, with the occasional help for manual runs. Your responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and creating end-to-end scenarios using Playwright (TypeScript).
  • Occasional manual testing. Mainly UAT and exploratory. Rarely smoke.
  • Creating testing scenarios and documenting them into the test management tool (Allure TestOps)

 

REQUIREMENTS

HARD SKILLS

  • You are comfortable working with modern JavaScript and Typescript (ES7+, NPM, NodeJS)
  • You have working experience with Playwright or equivalent.
  • You can write clear and concise bug reports, testing scenarios and other testing related documentation.
  • You have working experience of essential software engineering tools/technologies (GIT, Linux terminal (bash), etc).
  • You have clear understanding of testing methodologies and can apply your knowledge.
  • You have understanding of Software development life cycle (SDLC).

 

SOFT SKILLS

  • You are proactive and like to ask questions.
  • You are a team player. Ready to help when help is needed.
  • You are curious and would like to get deeper understanding of the product and how it works.
  • You are independent and self-driven. You can work alone on a task without tight oversight and are able to manage your time and tasks effectively.
  • You can identify when you are blocked and can get unblocked by asking for help in a constructive and effective manner.
  • You can clarify feature requirements to assure thorough testing.
  • You can receive feedback from your colleagues in a constructive manner and understanding that feedback is always professional and never personal.
