Lead FrontEnd Engineer with Node.js skills to $8000

We’re looking for a Frontend Team Leader with expertise in React and TypeScript, to play a key role in shaping the future of web creation. This is a chance to work at scale, deliver high-impact features every six weeks, and be part of a team that develops and enhances a platform used by millions of websites on the internet. 
 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Lead and mentor a team of highly skilled front-end engineers, ensuring professional growth and technical excellence.
  • Architect, develop, and optimize React-based front-end solutions for our powerful website-building experience.
  • Drive best practices in code quality, testing (unit, integration, E2E), and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Backend Engineers to create seamless, high-quality user experiences.
  • Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and technical mentorship to uplift the team’s capabilities.
  • Advocate for modern development methodologies such as Agile, TDD, and continuous integration.
  • Work in a Scrum environment, ensuring stories are broken down correctly, adapting quickly to changes, and collaborating effectively with product teams.

     

Required Competence and Skills:

 

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Team Leader in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.  
  • Strong clean code skills and mastery of React design patterns to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable codebases.
  • Expert-level proficiency in React and its ecosystem (Hooks, Redux, Context API, etc.).  
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end frameworks.  
  • Deep knowledge of testing methodologies and tools (Jest, Testing Library, Cypress, etc.).  
  • Experience in performance optimization, accessibility, and best front-end practices.  
  • Hands-on experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, etc.).  
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and WebSockets.  
  • Solid understanding of build tools and pipelines (Webpack, Vite, ESLint, Prettier, CI/CD, etc.).  
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and being comfortable adapting to changes quickly.  

     

Advantages:
