Job Title: Middle QA Engineer 
Seniority Level: Intermediate (2–4 years of experience)

Role Overview

A growing cross-functional product team is looking for a Middle QA Engineer to join an active project in the B2B2C e-commerce domain. The focus is on building solid QA processes from the ground up.

You will be responsible for manual testing, including backend and frontend validation, API and database testing, and collaborating with product and engineering stakeholders to ensure smooth and stable deliveries. There's also an opportunity to grow into automation and DevOps-related testing workflows.

Tech Stack Overview

Backend:

• Language: Python
• Framework: Django
• APIs: RESTful
• Infrastructure: AWS
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions (initial setup), Docker

Frontend:

• Framework: React with Next.js
• Language: TypeScript
• UI Library: NextUI (currently being migrated)
• Design Tools: Figma

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze user stories, workflows, and UI/UX designs to derive test scenarios
• Execute manual tests across the web frontend, backend APIs, and databases
• Identify, document, and track defects across test environments
• Create and maintain test plans and test cases
• Perform exploratory, functional, and regression testing
• Conduct release and smoke testing on staging and production environments
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers during agile ceremonies
• Contribute to building a scalable and consistent QA process
• Begin supporting early-stage automation initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience in web application QA
• Hands-on experience testing backend APIs and frontend UI
• Proficiency in manual testing tools: browser dev tools, Postman, exploratory testing
• Familiarity with Django, React, and Next.js environments
• Experience using Jira, GitHub, or Azure DevOps
• Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, even at beginner level)
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
• High attention to detail and a proactive mindset to challenge assumptions
