Senior DevOps Engineer (with streams experience)

PIN-UP Global is an international holding specializing in the development and implementation of advanced technologies, B2B solutions and innovative products for the iGaming industry. We provide certification and licensing of our products, providing customers and partners of the holding with high-quality and reliable solutions.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team!

Requirements:
Streaming & Media Processing:
— In-depth knowledge of video/audio codecs: H.264, H.265, AAC, Opus, etc
— Strong command of FFmpeg: real-time encoding, transcoding, filtering, packaging
— Experience with streaming protocols: RTMP, HLS, DASH, SRT, WebRTC
— Familiarity with stream manipulation techniques: overlays, resizing, logo insertion, audio replacement, etc

Cloud Infrastructure (AWS):
— Experience in AWS Media services: MediaLive, MediaConvert, MediaPackage, CloudFront. Or 3rd-party restreaming services (e.g., Restreamio, Wowza, or proprietary APIs)
— Solid experience with EC2, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, and security practices
— Scalability and reliability of stream handling on cloud-based infrastructure

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
— Experience in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management
— GitOps principles and version-controlled deployments

CI/CD & Automation:
— Familiar with GitLab CI/CD: pipelines, runners
— Automated deployment and rollback

Systems and Networking:
— Command-line skills and scripting in Linux
— Network troubleshooting: bandwidth, jitter, packet loss, firewall/NAT traversal
— Shell scripting (Bash) or Python scripting for orchestration and automation

Responsibilities:
— Design and deploy cloud (AWS) and on-premises infrastructures
— Develop scripts to automate infrastructure configuration and deployment
— Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using various tools
— Build and maintain monitoring and logging systems
— Ensure system security and protection
— Design and implement disaster recovery procedures
— Deploy updates and patches
— Adhere to corporate security and regulatory rules and practices
— Provide technical guidance and support to developers and other IT professionals
— Support team infrastructure, resolve configuration, infrastructure, and automation issues in various environments
— Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
— Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience to infrastructure and service failures
— Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud technologies and best practices
