🚀 About the Role

We are looking for a Freelance Python Developer to join an agile development team working on backend services and automation solutions for our client. You will contribute to the development of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features.

This role is ideal for a mid-to-senior level developer who is confident in writing clean, efficient Python code and enjoys solving technical challenges in a collaborative environment.

🎯 Responsibilities

🔹 Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python
🔹 Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product owners to implement business logic and APIs
🔹 Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following best practices
🔹 Participate in code reviews and continuous integration processes
🔹 Troubleshoot and debug production issues
🔹 Contribute to architecture decisions and system improvements

📚 Required Skills

✅ 3+ years of experience in Python development
✅ Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software architecture
✅ Experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
✅ Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration
✅ Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
✅ Proficiency in working with Git, CI/CD tools, and Docker
✅ Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
