Senior FrontEnd Developer (React) - Mature AI Product

We are Sembly AI — a cutting-edge AI SaaS startup revolutionizing how businesses leverage AI to achieve results with our industry-leading AI Teammate product. Our innovative platform is transforming the way teams collaborate and optimize productivity. We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer to join our web application team.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of new and existing front-end features for Sembly AI’s core web application
• Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to deliver elegant and performant user experiences
• Architect, build, and maintain complex, scalable React applications
• Integrate with GraphQL APIs using Apollo Client, optimizing data flows and state management
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance through code reviews, unit testing, and best practices
• Mentor and support other engineers, contributing to a culture of learning and excellence
• Stay up to date with the latest front-end trends, frameworks, and tools, proactively suggesting improvements
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and contribute to product roadmaps
   

Requirements:

• 5+ years professional experience in front-end web development
• Deep expertise in React, with a track record of building complex applications
• Strong experience with Apollo Client and GraphQL APIs
• Good knowledge of TypeScript
• Strong CSS (styled-components, CSS-in-JS, or CSS Modules) and modern HTML skills
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, etc.)
• Proven experience optimizing web apps for performance and accessibility
• Comfortable with Git, CI/CD workflows, and code review processes
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• English proficiency (written and spoken)
   

Nice to Have:

• Understanding of state management (Redux, Zustand, or similar)
• Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools
• Exposure to B2B SaaS products or productivity tools
• UI/UX sensibility and appreciation for great design
• Prior experience mentoring developers or leading projects
