Senior Fullstack Developer (React / Node.js) – Relocation to Dortmund, Germany (Onsite)

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer with deep experience in both React.js and Node.js to join our product development team in Dortmund, Germany. You’ll work on building and maintaining scalable web applications with a focus on performance, reliability, and clean code.

This is a full-time, onsite role with a relocation package provided. You will be working in an English-speaking environment — German is not required.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain fullstack applications using React and Node.js
• Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Participate in architectural decisions and code reviews
• Optimize components for performance and scalability
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with React.js and Node.js
• Solid experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Familiarity with Docker, microservices, and modern dev workflows
• Strong Git and version control knowledge
• Good understanding of testing strategies and tools (Jest, Cypress, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills in English
