Frontend Engineer (React + TypeScript, with Node.js familiarity) to $1000 Offline

We’re looking for a frontend engineer who can build modern, scalable user interfaces — and who’s also curious about backend work. While this role focuses primarily on frontend development, there’s room to grow into a full-stack position over time if that aligns with your goals.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using React and TypeScript
• Implement clean, reusable UI components and manage complex states effectively
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and shape the client-server interaction
• Translate product designs into responsive, accessible interfaces (we use Figma for handoffs)
• Participate in code reviews and help improve frontend architecture and developer experience
• Contribute ideas beyond the frontend — especially where frontend/backend boundaries blur

Requirements:

• Real-world experience with React and TypeScript
• Familiarity with a modern UI framework such as Material UI, Chakra UI, or similar
• Comfortable working with APIs and handling asynchronous data
• Experience with state management (e.g., Redux, Context, Zustand)
• Able to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Proficient in Git and collaborative workflows
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with Node.js, Express, or building RESTful APIs
• Exposure to databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar)
• Experience with SSR frameworks (e.g., Next.js, Remix)
• Familiarity with testing tools (Jest, React Testing Library)
• CI/CD experience and knowledge of deployment workflows
