Middle Full-Stack (Angular+Java) Developer Offline

Digis is looking for a Full-Stack (Angular + Java) Developer to join our remote team.

About the Project:

A modern insurance platform designed to fuel agency growth. It helps insurance brokers thrive in the digital age by automating the full insurance workflow — not just isolated parts — and making enterprise-level capabilities accessible without custom coding.

Project Country & Time Zone: USA (EST) — working hours required until 1 PM EST (8 PM Kyiv time)
Project Age & Stage: Founded in 2023, currently in the development stage (not yet in production)
Duration: Long-term (1+ year)
Methodology: Sprint-based planning with a waterfall-style approach — each sprint has story points and pre-estimated tasks.
The Team: A large international team including developers from Canada and India, several software architects, and a QA department with 7 specialists.

Responsibilities:

• Implement the roadmap for legacy system modernization, aligned with defined priorities and dependencies
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, metrics, and incremental delivery
• Design and develop scalable solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure both technical and client needs are met
• Work with common development tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket, build systems, editors) across Windows and Linux environments

• Design and develop APIs, estimate effort for development tasks, and participate in team management and technical support

   

Requirements:

• Java (11+), Spring: 1+ years of hands-on experience
• Angular 14+: 2+ years of experience with modern Angular (including standalone components & performance optimization)
• English level: B2 or higher (sufficient for technical interviews)
