Junior Python Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Python Developer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Python and hands-on experience working with APIs. Familiarity with modern Python web frameworks like Django and FastAPI is a strong plus. You will contribute to backend development, API integrations, and support scalable application services across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code.
• Integrate and work with APIs (RESTful and/or GraphQL).
• Develop and maintain backend components and services.
• Assist in the development and consumption of internal and external APIs.
• Debug, test, and optimize applications and data flows.
• Collaborate with team members through code reviews, standups, and documentation.
• Learn and apply new tools, frameworks, and best practices as needed.
   

Requirements:

• Proficient in Python programming.
• Practical experience working with APIs and handling data in JSON format.
• Understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, and RESTful principles.
• Experience with version control systems (Git preferred).
• Ability to write basic tests and debug issues effectively.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
   

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience with Django or FastAPI frameworks.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Exposure to Docker and containerized development.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD workflows.
