Strong understanding of medical imaging workflows (CT/X-ray) and annotation processes.
Familiarity with 2D/3D annotation tools (e.g., 3D Slicer).
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
A huge plus:
Background in radiology, biomedical engineering, medical imaging, or anatomy.
Prior experience in healthcare AI, clinical research, or image analysis.
Experience with DICOM data, segmentation workflows, or PACS systems.
Knowledge of machine learning pipeline requirements is a plus.
Job Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Supervision: Supervise and support a team of medical data annotators.
Annotation Quality & Review: Conduct detailed reviews of annotations to ensure clinical accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Correct or escalate misannotations and maintain a high standard of quality across the dataset.
Dataset & Workflow Management: Manage datasets, organize and track annotation progress across projects and timelines. Use and configure annotation tools (e.g., 3D Slicer).
Collaboration & Reporting: Collaborate closely with ML engineers, clinical advisors, and project managers to ensure data is aligned with modeling goals.
Department/Project Description
We are developing advanced machine learning pipelines for the 3D reconstruction of bones from CT images, segmentation of anatomical structures, and detection of medical landmarks from CT scans and X-ray images. Accurate annotations are essential to the performance of our models. To ensure clinical precision, data annotators will be trained and guided by an experienced medical doctor.
To ensure quality and efficiency, we are expanding our annotation team and looking for a skilled Data Annotation Manager to oversee this process.
