Flutter Developer with Android TV Offline

At Uvik Software we're seeking a highly skilled and autonomous 🟣Flutter Developer with Android TV 🟣 to join our dynamic team.

Project Description:

The client is a leading provider of premium streaming media players—devices that connect to TVs to enable seamless viewing of content from platforms like Netflix and Apple TV. What sets them apart is their focus on delivering fully customized OEM/ODM solutions. They specialize in developing turnkey white-label devices, including tailored firmware and Android-based software, to meet the specific needs of their partners.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build applications for Android from scratch

• Work with outside data sources and APIs

• Implementing custom UI elements

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

• Creating project documentation

• Communication with stakeholders

Requirements: 

• At least 4 years of commercial experience in mobile development

• At least 2-3 years of Flutter experience for Android

• Experience with Git, Java, Dart

• Experience with sound null safety in Dart

• Experience with BloC architecture, Dio

• Experience with custom UI implementation

• REST principles understanding

• Strong knowledge of design patterns SOLID and GRASP paradigms

• Good knowledge of multithreading and memory management

• Experience with unit testing

• Upper-intermediate English

Would be a plus:

• Experience in Java or Kotlin development for Android

• Experience in Linux app development, including for STBs.

• Experience in integrating video/audio players (MPV, gstreamer, Exo) into apps
