Junior QA Engineer

TJHelpers is committed to building a new generation of QA specialists by combining mentorship, practical experience, and structured development through our “Helpers as a Service” model.

We’re looking for a QA  Engineer to join our growing QA team and help build robust automated tests for web and API systems. We welcome candidates with experience in any one programming language — TypeScript, JavaScript (priority), Java, or Python.
 

Responsibilities

• Write and execute automated test cases using your primary programming language.
• Learn and apply modern testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, REST Assured, PyTest, JUnit, etc.).
• Assist in creating and maintaining automated test suites.
• Collaborate with developers and report bugs clearly.
• Work with CI/CD tools and follow agile testing practices.
   

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of any one programming language: TypeScript, JavaScript (priority), Java, or Python.
• Understanding of testing concepts: unit, integration, regression.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST, HTTP basics).
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Team-oriented mindset and good communication skills.
   

Nice to Have

• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, REST Assured, PyTest, JUnit, etc.).
• Basic Git knowledge.
• Exposure to continuous integration pipelines.
