Senior Full Stack .NET Developer

📍 Remote | Full-time | Long-term project

We’re a small, hands-on team building and refactoring a CRM system tailored for the Australian market. The product is in active use and constantly evolving — we’re selling and improving it at the same time. We’re now looking for a senior full-stack .NET developer who can independently drive development tasks and work through ambiguity, while staying aligned with the team through proactive communication.

This role requires someone who’s comfortable working with legacy code, unclear initial scopes, and the need to initiate clarifications with colleagues or stakeholders (including the client). If you’re used to getting perfectly written specs or working in classic Scrum, this may not be a fit. But if you enjoy shaping the solution and being in the loop from the start, read on.

🧩 What you’ll do:

  • Develop and improve user-facing screens
  • Pick up and complete partially finished integrations
  • Work with .NET 4.6.2+, .NET 6+, C#, Vue 3, and jQuery
  • Dig into bugs, edge-case issues, and product inconsistencies
  • Collaborate with the team in a pragmatic, task-focused workflow, including initiating discussions when details are missing

🛠 Tech stack:

  • .NET 4.6.2+, .NET 6+, ASP.NET MVC, C#
  • Vue 3, jQuery, JavaScript/TypeScript
  • MS SQL
  • Playwright, Xunit, Jest
  • Azure (nice to have)

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in .NET web development
  • Strong front-end skills (Vue 3, JavaScript/jQuery)
  • Ability to work independently and navigate partial or unclear requirements
  • Readiness to work with legacy code and improve it incrementally
  • Intermediate+ English
  • A proactive mindset — you don’t wait for ideal specs but help shape them with the team

🌟 Nice to have:

  • Experience with Azure Services
  • Previous work on SaaS products
  • Experience completing partially implemented features or integrations

To help us better understand your thinking and communication style, please answer the following couple of questions when applying.

  1. There is a strange instability in the product, and we can't locate clear evidence of what is causing it.
One of your colleagues has a hypothesis. He is experienced in this area — and so are you. However, you disagree.
What do you do? How do you decide? What factors do you take into account?
  2. What is a project you worked on that made you proud, and why?
