Senior Python Engineer Offline

Project Description

We’re looking for a skilled Senior Python Engineer to join a finance-focused data analytics project. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Python and SQL, along with a solid understanding of financial data structures and multi-currency analytics spanning across international business units.
 

Client Description

A US-based technology company specializing in innovative solutions for the fintech sector. You’ll be joining a dynamic remote team working on impactful products used by financial teams across multiple countries and currencies.
 

Position Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Python and SQL development
• Strong experience with complex financial data pipelines and analytics
• Proven ability to drive data insights across entities and currencies
• Solid background in Computer Science, ideally with further education or practical knowledge in AI
• Strong communication skills and independence in handling analytical tasks
• Availability for PST time zone collaboration (2 days per week until 8 PM PST)

Candidate Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines for complex financial analytics
• Build and maintain Python-based solutions to process large datasets from multiple sources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data models and reporting logic
• Lead efforts in optimizing financial data aggregation across global entities and currencies
• Translate business needs into analytical solutions and actionable insights
• Mentor junior team members and support code reviews
• Contribute to architecture decisions for data processing workflows
• Engage in planning and communication during PST hours (2 days/week overlap)
