Middle/Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure, AWS) Offline
N-iX is looking for a talented DevOps (Azure & AWS) to join our team!
Our client is one of Europe's fastest-growing mobile companies with 4.5 million active customers, 1,000 employees worldwide, and operations in five countries. The client is using the mobile virtual network operator business model.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Day-to-day support and maintenance of Azure API Management and equivalent AWS API Gateway services, including policies, authentication, and security.
- Ensuring the availability of infrastructure and running services
- Monitoring, reporting, graphing, and alerting across all infrastructure services
- Managing day-to-day support and maintenance of these systems within best practice guidelines, including handling escalations, communication, and stakeholder management
- Manage and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild, Jenkins or similar tooling ( create pipelines, manage variable groups, repos, branch policies and build validation)
- Support team members with CI/CD configs, pipeline failures, and secret management across both platforms (Azure Key Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
- FinOps: preparing cloud cost reports, reviewing gaps, and optimizing cloud infrastructure bill
- Maintaining existing Azure DevOps self-hosted agents, updating versions, installing new software dependencies, and applying machine patches
- Building and deploying Docker containers in an orchestrated environment (via HELM)
Actively participate in release processes, ensuring successful production deployments across environments.
Desired Skills and Competencies
- 3+ years of DevOps experience with a balanced focus on Azure and AWS
- Proficient with Azure DevOps and AWS DevOps services (at least 1 year with AWS)
- Solid knowledge of cloud networking, DNS, load balancing
- Managing certificates, permissions, encryption, security groups, identity management across both platforms.
- Understanding of cloud cost management tools (Azure Cost Management, AWS Cost Explorer)
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools in both clouds (Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes (experience with AKS)
- Basic scripting and automation skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Experience with Terraform
- In-depth understanding of CI/CD and strong grasp of DevOps principles
Upper-intermediate level of English (both verbal and written)
Nice to Have
- Strong understanding of networking and security
- Experience with logging
Ability to monitor and troubleshoot basic SQL issues
