QA Engineer
About the project
We're looking for a QA Engineer with manual and automation experience to join one of our projects in the healthcare and fintech domain.
The product is an AI-powered platform that automates financial operations — specifically, the reconciliation of payments between hospitals and insurance companies.
By combining invoice data, bank transactions, reimbursement rules, and other relevant inputs, the system streamlines the reconciliation process for healthcare providers, helping them get paid faster and more accurately.
You’ll be joining a team that’s building meaningful tech with real-world impact.
We joined the project at an early stage and brought it to a public release within a year.
Now, we continue to actively develop the product by adding new features and improving existing ones.
Tools & Technologies:
Python, PostgreSQL, React, Playwright (JavaScript), Postman, Swagger, SQL, Datadog, Figma, Notion, Jira.
Responsibilities:
- Support and develop automated functional tests for business logic and user interfaces;
- Document and maintain existing test scenarios;
- Perform manual exploratory testing during planned iterations and pre-release phases;
- Report and track defects using the issue tracking system;
- Collaborate with the client and other teams as part of day-to-day responsibilities;
- Create and maintain test documentation and test reports.

Expectations:
- Long-term Commitment. Our projects are usually long-term. That's why we ask our team members for a minimum of 1 year commitment from their side.
- Full-time Work. Our customers expect us to work full-time on their projects, so we kindly ask our team members the same. On average this means 40 hours per week.
- Synced Schedule. The nature of our projects requires maximum schedule overlap for effective collaboration between everyone involved.
Team Meetings. We believe that clear communication is the key to success. Our teams have regular meetings: daily sync-ups, planning sessions, code review.
Required skills:
We look for the candidates who have:
- 0.5–1 year of hands-on experience in test automation using JavaScript (experience with Playwright is a plus);
- 1.5+ years of practical experience in manual testing;
- Solid understanding of API testing;
- Experience working with relational databases;
- Knowledge of test design techniques and ability to apply them in practice;
- Comfortable working with test documentation (test plans, test reports, checklists);
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results;
- Good spoken and written English (Intermediate level or higher preferred);
- Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
