Senior Backend Developer (Go)

Join our engineering team as a Backend Software Engineer, where you will play a key role in architecting, building, and implementing our technology strategy. Collaborating closely with a high-performing engineering team in New York, you will support the technical vision and execution of the company by developing innovative and reliable technology solutions. Your expertise will be essential in building and scaling a secure, high-performing tech infrastructure that supports our business goals.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably with Java/C# + Go. Startup experience is a plus.
• Strong coding abilities in Golang core backend technologies, including but not limited to relevant languages
• Exposure to TypeScript is a big plus
• Hands-on experience with database technologies (Postgres, Redis, and/or DynamoDB)
• Proven experience building critical compliance tools in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the blockchain or fintech industry
• Customer-focused approach, with a demonstrated ability to translate product requirements into elegant, scalable, and robust technical solutions
• Track record of delivering impactful solutions in a dynamic, fast-growing startup environment
• At least Upper-Intermediate English level
• Be able to overlap with US Eastern Time (EST) - till 9pm-10pm Kyiv time

Nice to have skills

• Familiarity with Temporal and gRPC
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., AML, KYC, GDPR) and their impact on product development and operations
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, legal, risk, operations) to implement compliance initiatives
