IT Project Manager Mobile App

Your key tasks:

  • Organize and manage the full development lifecycle of a mobile loyalty application β€” from idea validation to launch and post-release iterations.
  • Translate business goals into clear technical requirements by working closely with product, marketing, design, and development teams.
  • Set up and maintain Agile workflows (Scrum/Kanban), including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure smooth collaboration between mobile developers (iOS/Android), backend engineers, QA, and designers.
  • Coordinate integration of loyalty system features β€” bonuses, virtual cards, personal offers, referral programs, and push notifications.
  • Track project timelines, scope, and deliverables, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery of app features.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to delays, technical limitations, and third-party dependencies.
  • Work with analytics teams to define KPIs and integrate tools for tracking app usage, conversion, and user retention.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders regularly on progress, blockers, and delivery plans.
  • Organize UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and gather post-launch feedback for continuous improvement.


You will need them in your job:

  • Strong understanding of the mobile app development lifecycle – iOS / Android release process, app stores, CI/CD pipelines for mobile.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies – Proficient in running Scrum, Kanban; tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, ClickUp.
  • Basic understanding of mobile technologies – Familiarity with REST APIs, Firebase, SDK integrations (analytics, loyalty, push notifications), mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM).
  • Integration management – Experience managing integrations with third-party services (CRM, CDP, loyalty platforms, payment gateways, etc.).
  • Working with UX/UI and Figma or similar tools – Able to read and validate user flows and wireframes.
  • Experience with QA processes for mobile apps – Knowledge of regression testing, UAT, crash reporting tools (e.g., Sentry, Firebase Crashlytics).
  • Data & KPIs literacy – Ability to interpret product metrics (MAU, retention, LTV, NPS, churn) and use them for prioritization.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills – Able to clearly communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ownership mindset – Takes full responsibility for delivery and outcomes, not just execution.
  • Prioritization and time management – Comfortable balancing business needs, tech dependencies, and deadlines.
  • Empathy and user-centric thinking – Understands the end-user perspective and champions it throughout the project.
