Full Stack Team Leader to $5000

We seek an experienced Full Stack Team Leader to architect high-performance web applications and lead a cross-functional development team. You’ll drive technical decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure delivery of scalable solutions using Next.js, React, and PHP/PostgreSQL.

Tech Stack (Hands-On Leadership Expected):

Frontend:

• Next.js (SSR/SSG), React (Functional Components + Hooks)
• TypeScript (Strict Typing, Advanced Patterns)

• TailwindCSS (Utility-First, Responsive UIs)

   

Backend:

• PHP (Laravel/Symfony or Custom Frameworks)
• PostgreSQL (Complex Queries, Optimization)

• REST/GraphQL API Design

   

Leadership Tools:

• Git (Trunk-Based Flow), CI/CD (GitHub Actions)

• Agile/Scrum, Jira/Linear

   

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership:
   • Lead a team of 5-8 developers (frontend, backend, QA).
   • Define architecture for Next.js/React frontends and PHP/PostgreSQL backends.

   • Enforce code quality via PR reviews, testing (Jest/PhpUnit), and docs.

      

2. Project Execution:
   • Deliver performant web apps (LCP <1.5s, SEO 90+ Lighthouse).
   • Optimize PostgreSQL (indexing, query tuning for 10k+ RPS).

   • Migrate legacy PHP systems to modern stacks (if applicable).

      

3. Team Growth:
   • Mentor mid/junior devs in React+TypeScript and PHP best practices.

   • Conduct technical interviews and roadmap planning.

      

4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
   • Communicate with CTO/PMs in Advanced English (daily standups, docs, client calls).

   • Align technical decisions with business goals (cost, scalability).

      

Requirements:

✅ 7+ years in full-stack development (3+ in leadership roles).
✅ Proven expertise in:

• Next.js (App Router, Server Actions, Edge Runtime).
• PHP (modern frameworks or legacy refactoring).

• PostgreSQL (partitioning, replication, pgBouncer).
  ✅ Advanced English (CEFR C1/C2 – debates tech trade-offs fluently).
  ✅ Soft Skills: Conflict resolution, deadline pressure management.

   

Nice-to-Haves:

• AWS/GCP deployment experience.
