Job Description
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (IT, Telecom), or a related field.
5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related roles.
Proven leadership experience, including mentoring and coordinating cross-functional DevOps/Platform teams.
Strong experience with:
- Containerization & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Helm, FluxCD
- Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform
- Cloud: Azure (required), AWS/GCP (nice to have)
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
Familiarity with Java-based microservices and Spring Boot is a plus.
Understanding of telecom systems is highly desirable:
- 4G/5G Core development experience is a strong plus
- Understanding of 3GPP specifications is a plus
Strong grasp of Agile methodologies (e.g., TDD, Continuous Integration, code coverage, code analysis).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Self-motivated and capable of mentoring junior team members.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable DevOps platforms for microservices.
- Define and drive best practices for CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure provisioning.
- Make architectural decisions around non-functional requirements, including scalability, performance, and security.
- Oversee microservice deployment strategies using Helm, FluxCD, and manage infrastructure through Terraform, particularly in Azure.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure efficient platform integration and deployment.
- Support internal teams with tooling, automation, and performance optimization.
- Mentor and guide a DevOps team (up to 10 engineers), promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Support Agile development processes and ensure seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
