DevOps Engineer

About the product: We are building a streaming platform, a place where people from 70+ countries connect in real-time, share emotions, and fight loneliness through technology. Live-streaming is one of the fastest-growing niches in tech, with a projected market size of $240B by 2027. We are already part of this global race, offering ad-free streaming, 24/7 live events, and seamless user experience. As part of our team, you will work on challenges at scale: from launching a new market to processed improvement and optimization. Your work will directly contribute to product growth, but also impact people's lives and social interactions.  We are aiming to enter the global Top-5, and we need the boldest minds to get there!

In this role, you will:

  • Support and manage Kubernetes manifests
  • Handle Carpenter node autoscaling and downgrades
  • Configure infrastructure alerts to Slack
  • Set up Grafana dashboards with both technical and product metrics
  • Configure Firebase alerts (Cloud Functions)
  • Set up Artifactory (e.g., JFrog)
  • Enable running tests on CI
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure and control costs
  • Integrate GitLab, Slack, and approval flows
  • Maintain a self-hosted Sentry setup


It’s all about you:

  • 5+ years of DevOps experience
  • Strong hands-on expertise with AWS (EC2, ECR, EKS, S3, SQS, SNS, Route53)
  • Experience with Kafka cluster management
  • Solid skills in Terraform configuration
  • Confident working with Kubernetes, Flux, Kustomize, Helm
  • Experience configuring GitLab pipelines
  • Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Analytical thinking and data-driven approach
  • Organized, results-focused, and able to work under pressure
  • Proactive, fast learner, and strong critical thinking skills

 

Would be a plus:

  • Experience with Node.js
