Trainee/Junior QA Automation (IRC266557)

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Trainee or Junior Automation QA Engineer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about software quality and eager to grow in the field of test automation. You’ll be part of a dynamic team working on a large-scale enterprise application, gaining hands-on experience in both automation and quality engineering practices.
 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.

Or up to 1 year of commercial experience in software testing or quality assurance (including internships or part-time roles).

Solid understanding of software testing theory and modern test automation concepts and approaches.

Basic knowledge of Java Core, REST APIs, and SQL.

Good understanding of client-server architecture.

Intermediate to Upper-Intermediate English level (written and spoken).

Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Rest Assured, or Cucumber is a plus.
 

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Focus primarily on automated testing of a large enterprise application, with occasional manual testing where needed.

Support and enhance the existing QA automation framework.

Verify bug fixes and participate in patch release testing.

Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Collaborate with project management, engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure high product quality.
 

Department/Project Description

Our client is a well-known brand in the construction domain. They have offices all around the world and a great technical team. You'll become a part of the existing team of 15 developers working on the RESTful microservices and will collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts and other team members.
