QA Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our customer team as a Software Development Quality Assurance Engineer. You will work closely with the development team to help build an innovative health and wellness platform. You will help troubleshoot/debug code in manual testing for our web and mobile products. You will work closely with Quality Assurance, Development, Product (UI/UX), and Operations teams to test and maintain new features.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain test plan/test cases for future and current features
• Test individual stories/tasks within an Agile structure using Jira software
• Report bugs/Fix-tasks in a clear and concise manner
• Participate in weekly scrum meetings, grooming meetings, and sprint planning meetings
• Work collaboratively with other QA Engineers, UI/UX team and Developers
• Perform testing for web and mobile products — Mobile includes wearable data testing
• Create and maintain automation using Selenium/Selenide, Grafana K6, JMeter
• API testing
• Ability to present internally and to stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Quality assurance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Familiarity with QA tools and techniques including Selenium/Selenide, Grafana K6, JMeter, Postman, SQL, and Android studio
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of software development, quality assurance, and software testing
• Comfortable with working in small, fast moving companies with “just enough” process
• Confident English (B2+): ability to comfortably communicate in a team, read/write tech docs, and join calls
