As we scale the world’s leading consumer genomics platform, we're looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to transform complex science into intuitive, empowering experiences that feel like magic—and function with scientific precision.
 

You’ll lead the evolution of our platform into a best-in-class DTC health experience, redefining how users interact with their genome across web, mobile, and in-product journeys.
 

Your work will guide, educate, and inspire—helping people uncover actionable insights from their DNA, make smarter health choices, and shape their own future.
 

Introduction and important information:
 

We are only looking for senior-level, independent top performers with a proven track record in UX/UI design for both web and native applications. Ideal candidates will have direct experience in DTC subscription platforms and preferably within the healthcare or genomics space.

🛠 Desired Skills and Experience
 

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, ideally within DTC subscription platforms.
• Experience designing for health tech, health optimization, or science-driven consumer products strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering user-centric, high-conversion designs for web and mobile, with deep experience crafting seamless native app interfaces.
• Expert in Figma, prototyping, and agile collaboration with engineers.
• Hands-on with user research and usability testing — you translate insight into elegant design.
• Fluent in the end-to-end design process from discovery to polished visuals.
• Exceptional portfolio that demonstrates strong UX thinking, interaction design, and visual polish.
• B2-C1 English level.
  
  🎯 Responsibilities
   
• Own the full end-to-end user experience across web and mobile - from concept to launch to optimization.
• Translate complex genomic and health content into intuitive, high-converting user flows and visuals.
• Design, document, and evolve scalable systems and design components.
• Drive UX strategy and structure for new features and product experiences across the consumer journey to shape a world-class user experience.
• Design with a mobile-first approach, ensuring native app and responsive experiences are intuitive, high-performing, and built for real-world use.
• Regularly use and experiment with AI tools to accelerate design, improve quality, and scale your impact.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering to ensure designs are implemented to spec - and work beautifully in the real world.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, and Bioinformatics to create cohesive experiences that build trust and drive engagement.
• Continuously run UX research and usability testing (lightweight or in-depth) to validate assumptions and guide design decisions.
