Middle Automation QA Engineer (Python)
Role overview:
We are looking for a proactive Middle Automation QA Engineer with strong Python skills to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts, expanding test coverage, and ensuring high product quality. The role involves close collaboration with developers and manual/automation QAs, participation in code reviews, and continuous improvement of the automation framework.
Product Overview:
The key idea of this product is to enable our customers to share their proprietary data with us easily and frictionlessly. We have built a number of products that analyze data of our customers and provide them with valuable insights and execute operational workloads for them. The mission of the team is to constantly come up with effective ways to collect data, automate processing, normalize and integrate with internal products, so other product teams could consume this data and build their products.
Important Note: Candidates must demonstrate prior knowledge of CUCollaborate’s platform, tools, and services, and are expected to research and familiarize themselves with the organization before applying.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in QA Automation (Python)
- Experience with test frameworks (Pytest, Selenium)
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and SDLC
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps)
- Good communication skills and problem-solving attitude
- English: Intermediate or higher
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated tests (API, UI, integration)
- Analyze requirements, write and update test cases
- Identify, document, and track defects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Contribute to test framework improvements
