QA Tester (Contract)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Part-Time QA Tester to help validate our platform across critical user flows. This role is vital to ensuring our product is polished, performant, and ready for launch.

 

You’ll collaborate closely with our product, design, and development teams to test both desktop and mobile web versions of the app, report and reproduce bugs, and offer QA insights during pre-release development.

 

Responsibilities

  • Execute manual testing across key user journeys:
    • Sign-up & authentication (via SSO)
    • Onboarding flows (Practice & Professional)
    • Calendar, availability, and booking workflows
    • Messaging, timesheets, and billing interfaces
  • Identify, log, and verify bugs using our issue-tracking tool (e.g., GitLab or Jira)
  • Create and maintain structured test cases and checklists
  • Conduct exploratory and regression testing as features evolve
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce edge-case issues
  • Provide QA sign-off for sprint deliverables and prototype validations

 

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of QA testing experience (manual; automated a bonus)
  • Familiarity with web-based testing (mobile + desktop browsers)
  • Experience testing user onboarding flows, forms, dashboards, and role-based features
  • Clear understanding of responsive design, UI/UX principles, and accessibility basics
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own testing cycles
  • Experience with Figma prototypes and tools like Postman (nice to have)
  • Bonus: Experience with healthcare or gig/workforce marketplace platforms

  • Frontend: Vue 3, TypeScript, Tailwind, shadcn-vue
  • Backend: Laravel
  • Payments: Stripe Billing
  • CI/CD: Azure + GitLab

 

Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–15 hours/week
Start Date: 3-4 weeks
Contract Length: 4 months (with potential to extend)
