Frontend Software Engineer Offline

Most of our clients are tech startups so we are looking for a person who is ready to dive into the emerging world of startups and comfortable working in a fast and frequently changing environment.

Person we are looking for:

• Collaborative and growth mindset – open to feedback and always eager to learn new frameworks and best practices
• 2+ years of commercial front-end experience (SPA frameworks, modern CSS etc)
• Deep expertise in one area, such as:
  • Building complex SPAs (React, Vue, Svelte, Angular)
  • Advanced CSS (Tailwind, CSS-in-JS) and responsive layout
  • High-performance, accessible interfaces
• Comfort with AI-powered UI components (chatbots, dynamic data loading)
• Portfolio of work (GitHub, CodeSandbox, deployed demos)
• Fluent in JavaScript/TypeScript (ESNext features, strict typing)
• Experience with Cloud hosting/deployment (Vercel, Netlify, AWS Amplify, Firebase)
• Familiarity with OpenAI (or other LLM) APIs for in-UI integrations
   

Responsibilities:

• Build and ship user-facing screens (search, basket, checkout, dashboards) in a modern framework (SvelteKit, React, Vue)
• Integrate AI/LLM widgets (OpenAI, etc.) for recommendations or chat within the UI
• Wire up social sign-ins (Google/Apple) and Stripe Checkout flows
• Turn Figma mocks into pixel-perfect, responsive views, ensure mobile breakpoints look great
• Instrument analytics events (Snowplow or similar) for basket abandonment and conversion tracking
• Write and maintain reusable component libraries (consistent design tokens, 8-point grid)
• Collaborate in Agile sprints – stand-ups, grooming, backlog refinement, sprint demos
• Document your work (component usage, deployment steps, environment variables) for easy handoff
• Work closely with backend engineers (REST/GraphQL consumption, error handling, loading states)
• Pair with UX and PM to refine micro-copy, accessibility, and edge-state behavior.
