We are seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Architect/Lead DevOps Engineer to lead cloud architecture and DevOps implementation efforts across multiple client projects.
Role Overview
As an Infrastructure Architect / Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing existing client infrastructure, defining modern and scalable cloud architectures, creating implementation plans, and leading the execution of DevOps and infrastructure automation practices. You will work closely with internal engineering teams, client stakeholders, and solution architects.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current infrastructure and DevOps capabilities of client environments (mostly AWS and Azure).
- Define and document cloud architecture blueprints, infrastructure plans, and DevOps strategies.
- Lead and participate in the implementation of cloud infrastructure (IaC, CI/CD, secrets management, monitoring, security, cost optimization).
- Design and govern secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments, including compute, networking, storage, and databases.
- Establish and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Define and enforce best practices for identity and access management, encryption, logging, and compliance (e.g., CIS benchmarks, AWS Well-Architected Framework, Azure CAF).
- Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation and visual diagrams using modern tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Flowchart Maker & Online Diagram Software , Miro).
- Plan and implement centralized secrets and configuration management (e.g., AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault).
- Optimize infrastructure cost across environments using tooling and best practices.
- Support incident response, capacity planning, and performance analysis.
Mentor DevOps engineers across projects and contribute to internal reusable frameworks.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years in DevOps, infrastructure architecture, or cloud engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure (certifications preferred: AWS SA Pro / DevOps Pro, Azure Architect Expert).
- Strong knowledge of:
- Compute (EC2, Lambda, Azure VMs, Functions)
- Networking (VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, Load Balancers, VPN, Transit Gateway)
- Storage (S3, EBS, EFS, Azure Storage)
- Databases (RDS, DynamoDB, CosmosDB, Azure SQL, etc.)
- Monitoring/Logging (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)
- CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, CodePipeline)
- IaC (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation)
- Configuration Management (Ansible, SSM, Puppet, Chef)
- Secrets Management (AWS Secrets Manager, Key Vault, Vault)
- Container orchestration and deployment (EKS, AKS, Fargate, Docker, Helm)
- Familiarity with Well-Architected Frameworks (AWS, Azure), security standards (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001, CIS).
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in complex distributed systems.
- Proficient in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

- Familiarity with GitOps, service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), or serverless-first architectures.
- Kubernetes ecosystem experience (monitoring, scaling, policy enforcement).
Experience integrating third-party tools (e.g., Datadog, Snyk, Cloudflare, WAFs).
