Snowflake Expert

We invite a skilled Snowflake Expert to join our Data & Analytics Competency Center and the team delivering solutions for one of the world's leading energy technology companies.

The customer is building a completely new data platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Snowflake and a strong understanding of various data integration and management technologies. 

Your tasks:

• Lead the implementation and optimization of Snowflake solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Utilize Apache Iceberg for seamless multi-engine interoperability and efficient data management. 
• Implement and manage Iceberg cataloging using Apache Polaris.
• Integrate and leverage OpenFlow for enhanced data processing and workflows. 
• Implement and manage data flows using Apache NiFi.
• Utilize Snowpark for looping or batch functionality, creating UDFs to parallelize and apply code logic at scale within Snowflake.
• Manage continuous data ingestion using SnowPipe, initiating data loading from files as soon as they are available in a stage.
• Implement and manage ETL processes using tools like Qlik.
• Apply DevOps practices and manage infrastructure using Terraform. 
• Develop and manage REST and SOAP APIs, with working knowledge of KONG. 
• Ensure robust integration with SAP systems.
• Perform data transformation with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. 
• Utilize Collibra for data cataloging and governance.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Snowflake and related tools.
• Experience with Apache Iceberg, Apache Polaris, Open Flow, and Apache NiFi.
• Knowledge of Snowpark, SnowPipe, and ETL tools like Qlik.
• Strong skills in DevOps practices and IAC with Terraform.
• Expertise in REST and SOAP APIs and working knowledge of KONG.
• Experience in data transformation with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
• Knowledge of Collibra and data cataloging.
• Understanding of SAP integrations.
