Middle Manual QA Engineer (Revit Plugins)
About the Project:
We develop and maintain custom Autodesk Revit plugins that automate, extend, or integrate BIM workflows for architects and engineers. These plugins are tightly coupled with the Revit environment and involve complex interactions with building models, project metadata, and external services.
Responsibilities:
• Perform manual testing of Revit plugins across supported Revit versions;
• Execute functional, integration, and regression tests on plugin features;
• Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and documentation;
• Verify plugin stability and performance on real BIM models;
• Reproduce and document bugs clearly using issue tracking tools;
• Collaborate with developers and lead managers to clarify requirements and improve quality.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of commercial experience in manual QA (preferably desktop or complex data-driven applications);
• Strong knowledge of testing theory (QA methodologies, test case design, and bug reporting)
• Good understanding of software development life cycle ;
• Experience in working with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, etc).
• Basic understanding of desktop software architecture and installer behavior.
• Experience with issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira, YouTrack).
• Upper-intermediate English (reading documentation, writing clear bug reports).
Nice to Have:
• Previous experience with CAD, BIM, or Revit plugins.
• Understanding of Revit as a user (even at a basic level).
• Familiarity with RVT, IFC or other BIM-related file formats.
• Experience working with API-based integrations is a plus.
• Exposure to version compatibility testing or large model performance validation.
