Backend Developer (Node.js + TypeScript)

We’re looking for a Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js and TypeScript to join our forward-thinking team 🚀.

You’ll be working on scalable backend services for web apps in fintech, crypto, and e-commerce, collaborating with a solid frontend setup already in place. If you’re passionate about clean architecture, performance, and backend logic — let’s talk.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Build and maintain backend services using Node.js (v22+) and TypeScript

🔹 Work with Nitro (h3) – the same engine behind Nuxt 3’s server layer

🔹 Use zod for validation and schema definitions

🔹 Build efficient database logic using drizzle

🔹 Integrate external APIs, SDKs (e.g. KuCoin, Bybit, payment gateways)

🔹 Manage background jobs using BullMQ

🔹 Work with Redis for queues and caching

🔹 Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers

🔹 Write scalable, testable, and well-documented code

📋 Requirements:

🔹 Solid experience with Node.js and TypeScript

🔹 Familiarity with Express.js or similar frameworks (Nest, Fastify, etc.)

🔹 Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, and web server architecture

🔹 Experience working with relational databases and query builders/ORMs (drizzle or similar)

🔹 Knowledge of zod or other schema validation libraries

🔹 Experience with Redis and background job queues (BullMQ or similar)

🔹 Clean code practices and understanding of modular backend architecture

🔹 Ability to work independently and proactively suggest improvements

✨ Nice-to-Haves:

🔹 Experience with API integrations and working with third-party SDKs

🔹 Familiarity with cryptocurrency exchanges and blockchain infrastructure

🔹 Understanding of authentication flows and secure backend development

🔹 Comfort with full-stack communication (e.g. working with frontend teammates using Nuxt)

🔹 Experience writing unit/integration tests
