A God Go/Golang Backend Developer (API/Middleware) to $4500

We are looking for a Senior Go/Goland developer who is passionate about delivering bespoke backend solutions, rapid development, decision-making space and high-quality code.

🚀 Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust RESTful APIs using Go (Gin or Fiber) frameworks from scratch
• Architect and optimize MongoDB schemas, queries, and relationships
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2)
• Develop modular and reusable service layers for users, roles, permissions, forms, and reports
• Collaborate closely with Frontend/Backend and AI teams to integrate services and background workers and processes behind them
• Take ownership of backend architecture decisions and mentor junior developers as needed

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience, including 3+ years with Go (Gin or Fiber preferred)
• Experience designing and scaling REST APIs from the scratch in production environments
• Deep understanding of Go’s concurrency model, interfaces, and idiomatic practices
• Strong knowledge of NoSQL data modeling, especially in MongoDB (CRUD, indexes, aggregation, schema design)
• Advanced background in API security best practices (CORS, Rate Limiting, Validation, Sanitization)
• Familiarity with basics of Cloud services AWS/Azure (e.g., API Gateway configuration)
• Git and team-based development workflows (e.g., BitBucket PRs)

• Comfortable working in a on-site, asynchronous, high pace, startup-style team with a high degree of autonomy

   

✨ Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with MongoDB Atlas performance optimization (e.g., managing RPS/QPS, connection pooling, aggregations, and index tuning)
• Deep knowledge of L1 caching layers in Go (in-memory strategies, TTL management, cache hit ratios)
• Confidence with monitoring and observability (Grafana/Prometheus/ELK) integrations
• Experince with asynchronous workflows via message brockers (RabbitMQ/Kafka/SQS)
• Familiarity with AI integration workflows or collaboration with data science teams
