Test Automation Engineer (C# / Robot Framework)

One of our new partners is expanding their team and looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining a keyword-driven automation framework in a complex technical environment. 

 

You’ll contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing infrastructure, and support the delivery of stable and scalable software solutions.

 

This is a long-term remote position offering both technical depth and ownership.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain GitHub Actions workflows (including test reporting and Quality Gates)
  • Extend C#/.NET-based machine and simulator interfaces
  • Improve and document SharedMessages and Simulator libraries
  • Design and maintain test authoring environments (e.g. TestBench integration)
  • Expand and structure keyword libraries (DSL-style architecture)
  • Implement Robot Framework example tests for UI, system, and control layers
  • Collect test run metrics, integrate monitoring tools
  • Restructure repositories, define provisioning and test runner strategies

 

 

Requirements

  • 4+ years in software development or test automation
  • Strong experience with C# and minimal .NET Framework 
  • Solid knowledge of Robot Framework or a similar keyword-driven testing tool
  • Confident with GitHub Actions, Docker, and Linux-based environments
  • UI testing experience with Avalonia or WPF

 

 

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with DSL/BBD tools like SpecFlow, Gauge, FitNesse
  • Experience integrating TestBench or similar tooling
  • Understanding of hardware/simulator-based test design
  • Fluent English for documentation and team communication
