Lead Fullstack Developer (Nest.js + React, Backend-focused 80/20)

We are currently looking for a Lead Fullstack Developer (Typescript(React)+ Nest.js(Backend-oriented) 80- back 20-front) to join a long-term corporate platform initiative focused on integrating generative AI tools into enterprise workflows.

Project:
A corporate AI enablement platform aimed at accelerating the adoption of tools like ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot. It supports personalized learning, cross-team knowledge sharing, and secure AI integration into daily workflows. One of the standout features is an Excel-focused AI assistant that helps users in real time, boosting productivity across teams.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Strong expertise in Node.js using NestJS (backend-oriented role)
- Solid knowledge of TypeScript
- Experience with React, Tailwind, Zustand, React Query (basic familiarity; focus is on backend)
- Deep understanding of code architecture and software craftsmanship principles
- Proficiency in unit testing and code quality enforcement
- Proven experience in planning and executing refactoring efforts
- Ability to mentor team members and drive technical excellence
- Experience with MongoDB and building scalable APIs
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and deployment in Azure Cloud

Will be a plus:

• Experience in backend-heavy platforms or developer tooling
• Familiarity with secure data handling and enterprise compliance
• Contributions to internal developer enablement or architecture communities

Responsibilities:

- Lead technical architecture decisions and maintain high code quality standards
- Drive refactoring and technical debt reduction initiatives
- Collaborate closely with other engineers and tech leadership to align on roadmap and execution
- Mentor junior developers and help improve team’s technical maturity
- Ensure backend services are scalable, secure, and well-documented
- Contribute to DevOps processes and deployment pipelines on Azure
