AWS Cloud Architect - capable of travelling abroad Offline

Join GlobalLogic’s Architects Team within the Healthcare Business Unit, supporting clients across the EMEA region. This strategic role is focused on engaging new clients, shaping impactful technical solutions, and launching innovative DevOps-driven projects in the healthcare space. You will play a key part in growing our business by translating client challenges into actionable architectures, leading discovery and solutioning efforts, and ensuring successful project kickoffs. 

 

As the role involves business trips, we are seeking a candidate who is willing and able to travel internationally. We are looking for a newcomer in Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Slovakia or Croatia. Work model: remote or hybrid/onsite at offices in one of the listed countries.

Requirements: 

 

  • Proven experience in the healthcare domain is critical – including understanding of compliance, security, and operational requirements in healthcare environments.
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial software development or systems engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Infrastructure Architect role.
  • Deep expertise in cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Hands-on experience designing and managing cloud and hybrid infrastructure at enterprise scale.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
  • Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native technologies and services (e.g., AWS Glue, Bedrock, API Gateway).
  • Strong experience with security, compliance, and firewall configurations in regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with healthcare DevOps use cases such as remote monitoring, clinical systems, or digital patient platforms.
  • Experience modernizing legacy infrastructure and migrating on-premises solutions to the cloud.
  • Strong documentation and architecture diagramming skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (at least Upper-Intermediate English).
  • Ability to present ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to assess business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable DevOps solutions.

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Support technical presales, customer workshops, and DevOps solution design for HealthTech and MedTech engagements.
  • Lead infrastructure and platform architecture definition for cloud-native and hybrid healthcare solutions.
  • Define and propose scalable and secure DevOps strategies, toolchains, and automation approaches.
  • Provide technical advisory for CI/CD design, cloud migration, application modernization, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and cloud engineering teams to ensure end-to-end delivery excellence.
  • Design cloud-agnostic and compliant DevOps frameworks tailored for the healthcare domain.
  • Lead DevOps readiness assessments and participate in proof-of-concept development.
  • Document technical decisions, architecture blueprints, and infrastructure designs.
  • Contribute to innovation and business development efforts within the HealthTech Division.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including architects, delivery managers, and sales.
