Middle Elixir/Phoenix API Engineer Offline

Digis is looking for an experienced Middle Elixir/Phoenix API Engineer to join our remote team and contribute to an dynamic project.

About the Project:
This is aa clean, design-first SaaS platform to help barbers run their entire business, from bookings to payments to client relationships.
Project`s Country: USA. Work in the Ukrainian time zone
Stage: founded — 2022, frontend is nearly ready to go — now need someone to set up API layer and bring this product to life

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years of general backend experience
• any experience with Elixir (Phoenix in particular)
• English language proficiency at B2+

What we need from you:

• Build and document all major backend endpoints for v1 (auth, appointments, payments, reviews, etc.)
• Help set up + maintain а MCP server
• Make API docs beautiful and dead simple for frontend devs to work with
• Collaborate with founder + designer to keep things clean, fast, and purposeful
